J-Board Job Board Software Overview

J-Board is a job board web application built using PHP and MySQL that you can install on your own web site and is already being used on hundreds of web sites.

Every listing features tags so visitors can research the company on technorati, bookmark the listing at del.icio.us and search for the company/location using Google Maps business search.

The Resume Plugin easily installs into your existing J-Board site, it allows registered users to add their CV, in fact they can add multiple CV's.

J-Board Requirements

J-Board was developed on a Linux web server using PHP and MySQL.

We have tested it on various server set-ups, including cpanel and Plesk, it has not been tested on Windows. You will need:

A website/domain name on a Linux webserver with Apache
PHP 4.3 or above
MySQL 4.0 or above

If your web host runs PHP as a CGI you may encounter problems. Most hosts don't, they run PHP as an Apache Module and this is the standard for the vast majority of hosts. If you find you can't get J-Board running then drop us a line and we'll organise a refund.
